1:1 Counseling & Mental Performance

This is a one-on-one space just for you—where you can talk honestly about what’s going on in your sport, your life, and your head. Individual counseling supports both your mental health and your mental performance, so you can feel better, think clearer, and show up more confidently—on and off the field.

Athletes often come in for support with

Athletes often face performance pressure, identity questions, emotional stress, and transitions related to sport participation or injury. Individual sessions are designed to address these challenges while strengthening focus, confidence, emotional regulation, and coping skills that support functioning both on and off the field.

Using a strengths-based, sport-informed clinical approach, treatment plans are tailored to each athlete’s goals and needs. Athletes develop practical mental, emotional, and behavioral skills that can be applied in competition, in the classroom, and in everyday situations. Sessions are offered virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to accommodate busy athletic and academic schedules.

Developing mental skills is a process—and with the right support, athletes can build tools that serve them well beyond sport.

Developing mental skills takes time—and you don’t have to do it alone.

A Mindful Nature Walk is a guided experience that combines slow, intentional walking with mindfulness techniques. Participants learn to observe their surroundings, connect with their senses, and be fully present in nature

No experience is necessary. The walks are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike. The guide provides simple instructions to help everyone follow along.

Most sessions last between 60–90 minutes, allowing enough time to slow down, breathe deeply, and fully immerse in the environment without rushing.

Comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a bottle of water are recommended. Some participants also like to bring a small journal to capture reflections after the walk.

Regular participation can help reduce stress, improve mental clarity, boost mood, deepen one’s connection with nature, and encourage a greater sense of balance and well-being.
